Our amazing Projects
It is so much fun presenting what we have learnt and created in our ‘Into the Deep’ studies. We have chosen all sorts of ways to present our projects from movies, models, posters and power-point slides. Here are a few of our projects.
The Royal NZ Ballet
The Royal NZ Ballet came to visit us this Friday and gave us a behind the scene look at what they do to prepare for a ballet and how they train. They also performed parts of Cinderella for us. It was fascinating to watch them quickly learn a new routine by making small movements with their hands to imprint the sequence and types of movements.
Office Monitors
Over the past week, Year 5 & 6 has been away on camp. As a result monitors (all year 5 & 6 children) have been scarce on the ground. Fortunately Cal and Esther volunteered to be the office monitors for the week. On Monday Esther told Ms Derhamy “It is hard to remember what to say”. Since then they have become experts and are looking forward to being able to volunteer for Monitor duties next year.
